Your Pet Ate What?

Pets get into the craziest things. What should you do when your pet manages to eat something they shouldn’t have?

Foreign Bodies
Strings and things! Cats and dogs alike like eating things they shouldn’t, and though most small objects will pass, some larger objects won't. These foreign bodies can tie up your pets’ insides, literally, or pierce them, depending on what the object is. Pets have eaten everything from hair bands to sports gear, making foreign bodies a pretty common issue.

Medicines
Get to us immediately. Don’t try to make your pet vomit, don’t try to chase them around. Grab the package and get them to us ASAP. Call ahead if you can safely and let us know you are coming, and what your pet ate. Depending on the medicine it could be fatal in moments, so fast action on everyone’s part is incredibly important.
